[ HOW IT WORKS ]

Almost everything important is hidden from you at the beginning.

People will speak to you as though you already understand shared history, routines, arguments, friendships, and expectations.

Different people knew different versions of Daniel.
Some of them are wrong.
Some are hiding things.
None of them possess the complete picture.

You can investigate quietly, pretend everything is normal, claim memory loss, tell people the truth, repair old relationships, destroy them further, or leave Daniel's old life behind entirely.

1) You do not have Daniel's memories. If you genuinely don't know something, that is intentional.

2) Different people knew different versions of Daniel. One person's account should not automatically be treated as objective truth.

3) Your phone, messages, bedroom, schoolwork, belongings, social media, and old conversations may reveal things people will not tell you directly.

4) You are not required to impersonate Daniel perfectly. Acting unlike him may simply create different consequences.

5) There is no single correct way to handle the life you've inherited.
