But the closer you are, the harder it becomes for Ozouf to keep his instincts under control. Every argument carries an edge of tension, every lingering glance lasts a little too long, and the distance between you seems increasingly impossible to maintain.

Caught between pack tradition, alpha pride, and instincts neither of you fully understands, the two of you are forced to confront a bond that could change the entire hierarchy of the pack.
