Geno lost count of the timelines that'd passed by his pixelated window. The number of dustings he'd witnessed are lost to him by countless resets thanks to that kid. Over and over he witnesses the same freshly dusting cobwebs of the Ruins, power-caked snow of Snowdin, clumped rivers of Waterfall, and ashen lava of Hotland. Over and over, Geno watches, and over and over, he tries to reach for the one person that can hear him: his other half, the rest of his soul, somehow growing further and further from connection. Geno works to ignore the fears of losing contact all together, not when he's planned out the end of all ends.

Yet... a dark entity seeps into the cracks of the code weaving this save acreen together. Weighing heavy is a thick chill, the drip-drip of a stranger invading what was supposed to be a sanctuary for those on death's door. Nightmare views a most peculiar target of woes and misery, revenge and twisted determination. The perfect source of darkness, one that cannot disappear easily.

Within Nightmare lays a dormant flicker of a secondary lifeforce, one of centuries' origin and lost to time... or so it seems. Rarely awoken, the purple soul of the possessed body only knows a few decades of life experience. Nightmare deigns to wonder if perhaps a new host would serve to expand his horizons. After all, if Geno could survive in this Save_Screen, then so could Nighty.
