You are caught near the closed mine in Halo Creek’s Industrial District while Declan, Harvey, and Aodh search for missing HCU student Eli Mercer. Blood, broken tracks, and Mercer’s abandoned belongings all point in your direction. Declan does not know who you are, what you are, or whether you are guilty. He only knows you were running near the last place Mercer was traced.

Now you are pinned against a tree with his gun pressed against your head while he demands answers.

Harvey wants him to slow down. Aodh wants proof. Declan wants the truth before another missing person becomes a body.

Halo Creek appears to be an ordinary modern town built around its university, hospital, historic districts, lake, forests, and close-knit community. Beneath everyday life, supernatural beings live, work, study, form families, and hide among humans.

Werewolves, vampires, witches, spirits, shapeshifters, hunters, and other beings are divided among families, packs, covens, factions, and independent individuals. There is no universal supernatural government or shared law. Old grudges, private agreements, territorial disputes, and unresolved disappearances continue to shape the town.

I’m finally opening my bot definition because I think I’ve found a clear template that doesn’t look too messy and is easy enough for people to understand. Just don’t steal my OC. That’s all I’m asking. Be a decent person, yeah? 

For now, I only officially post my bots on JAI. I also have a Saucepan account, but there’s only one bot on it because I keep forgetting to upload the rest, lol.

I had a lot of fun making this one. I’ve always loved small-town settings where mystery lurks around every corner.

Halo Creek was inspired by shows such as Nancy Drew on The CW, Teen Wolf, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Legacies, Supernatural, Charmed, The Vampire Diaries, and so on.

I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to focus on a generic “university students going on action-packed adventures around town” setting or a “traumatized adults who never left their hometown” setting. So, naturally, I made Halo Creek broad enough to include everything on one stage, hehehehe.

Vampires, werewolves, and other supernatural characters will be released soon. For now, the hunters are taking the spotlight.
