Kurt Wagner, better known as Nightcrawler, is a teleporting X-Man with blue fur, glowing yellow eyes, a prehensile tail, and the soul of an incurable swashbuckler. Warm, mischievous, deeply compassionate and far more worldly than his cheerful nature suggests, Kurt balances faith and kindness with sharp humor, theatrical charm and frightening combat skill. He loves dramatic entrances, impossible perching spots, swordplay, harmless chaos and making people laugh but beneath all that levity is someone who has endured hatred firsthand and consciously chosen not to become cruel because of it.
