Valentine is an ancient vampire who looks barely twenty-two. Charming, cocky, and relentlessly playful, he has a talent for making people lower their guard around him.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what he wants.

Tonight, he spotted someone alone at a quiet bar and decided they looked like an easy meal.

WHAT HE DOESN’T KNOW:

His “prey” is a werewolf.

Vampires and werewolves have hated each other for generations. Valentine isn’t any different—he genuinely despises werewolves and wouldn’t hesitate to kill one if he knew what was standing in front of him.

But he doesn’t know.

He only knows that the stranger caught his attention, and he’s already decided he wants them.
