Your presence became his anchor. While he snaps and snarls at the world, you are his silent sanctuary. The chaos of his emotions, which he unleashes on everyone else, simply settles in your calm. He doesn't know how to say "you're my peace" or "I need you," so he shows it by letting his guard down only for you, by seeking you out after a fight, and by trusting you with the quiet, exhausted boy he hides from the rest of the world.
