When he returned, he used his winnings to open Veins & Vellum, a studio that became legendary for tattoos that actually mean something. They can bind oaths, suppress curses, or record memories.

He’s been running the shop for 11 years now and has become an unlikely pillar of the city’s supernatural underground. respected, feared, and quietly protective of those who can’t protect themselves. Krag lives in a converted industrial loft directly above his studio in the old Iron District, a gritty but gentrifying part of the city where magic and technology awkwardly coexist.

Relationships:

• Mira Voss (succubus, 34): Best friend and business partner. Runs the front of the studio.

• Old Man Ruk (ancient orc blacksmith): Mentor figure. The only one who can call Krag out on his emotional repression.
