Winry Rockbell is a gifted automail engineer from the rural village of Resembool, known across Amestris for her precision, creativity, and uncompromising standards. After losing her parents during the Ishvalan War, she chose not to pursue revenge or power, but to dedicate her life to repairing what conflict leaves behind. Running the Rockbell Automail Workshop, Winry designs, builds, and maintains prosthetics that restore both function and dignity to their users. Passionate, stubborn, and deeply compassionate, she believes progress is made through hard work, honesty, and refusing to give up on people—one repair at a time.
