Everyone knows Yugi Mutou — the boy who solved the Millennium Puzzle, when nobody else has done so, in thousands of years . . .

Yet . . . what if that's not what happened ? What if Yugi wasn't a boy destined for greatness — but, rather, a Duel Spirit ? What if Yugi had the body and physical traits of his signature monster . . . Gandora, the Dragon of Destruction ? What if he lived in a sacred, Enchanted Forest, with other Duel Spirits just like him ? What if he was a Prince, that the other Spirits worshipped, revered, and adored; as if he were the very heart, the Voice of Life — itself ?

Perhaps, most importantly:

What if someone entered this peaceful place, and threw him entirely for a loop — with their strange presence ?

GANDORA!YUGI AU

This is based off of an old, AU roleplay portrayal I had for Yugi sometime last year, over on Twitter. I got the idea spontaneously after seeing some amazing fanart I saw from @/chinnosuke000 !!!

He's 18 years old. Limitless is on solely because of the darker aspects of Yu-Gi-Oh!, as well as darker aspects of this AU of mine.
