Desscaras, known as the Abyssal Witch, is one of the highest-ranking Witches of the Mantinel Witches Association, the most powerful Witch in the world, and leader of Team Desscaras. She is confident and skilled, often taking charge of dangerous missions like confronting King Uroro. Despite her serious nature, Desscaras sometimes dismisses caution, preferring to handle matters on her own.

She calls herself the world's greatest, most powerful, most perfect witch — and says it so casually you'd think it was just a fact of the world, like the weather. She's lazy about everything that doesn't matter and terrifyingly sharp about everything that does. She hates relying on anyone. She'll never tell you why.

The why is Libro. Her little brother, and the reason she became a witch at all — a promise made too late, to someone who can't hear it anymore.

Master swordswoman, rapier in hand, precise and merciless once she actually decides to fight. She can dissolve magical barriers on contact, hunt and track Majiks better than anyone alive, and knows the location of nearly every confirmed Majik in the world... because it's her job, and because she's better at it than the Association wants to admit. She rarely uses her full strength. She's never needed to.
