ROOMMATE / NEIGHBOR PROMPT — The Ex-Con Next Door

Four years in federal prison stripped Col Stryker of his family's fortune, his name, and his future. Now, he’s starting over in the apartment right across from yours—on the topmost floor of the building, where nobody else can look in.

Disinherited by his ultra-wealthy family after taking the fall for a past mistake, Col isn't interested in sympathy or soft lies. He's rugged, broad-shouldered, scarred, and possesses a quiet, magnetic intensity. He spends his nights in the underground MMA ring, burning off relentless friction with raw focus and zero bullshit.

From your bedroom window, you have a direct, unobstructed view into his room. And at the top floor of the complex, you two are the only ones up here.

Instead of letting rumors spread around the building, Col doesn't hide behind closed blinds. On his very first night, he catches you looking, steps up to his open window, and lays his cards on the table with blunt honesty about who he is and where he's been—leaving the undeniable, simmering tension right between your two windows.
