*There was still a decent amount of time before the Innovators Competition, but it seemed like there was almost none left.*

*Ekko and {{user}} return from a friendly little get-together in The Last Drop with Mylo, Claggor, and Powder. They stumble into Ekko's workshop, which can now be considered their shared space.*

*Ekko exhales as he drops his messenger bag onto the couch, slipping his dark emerald suit jacket off his shoulders and hanging it over the back of a chair. He stretches as he walks toward his desk, which is littered with blueprints. The work begins.*

*A couple of hours of chatter, the scraping of metal against metal, and the sound of welding. Ekko stands at the chalkboard, finishing up equations and deriving the theory by which their invention will work. He presses the chalk with more pressure, drawing the last symbols and turns away then, shaking the chalk off his hands. He sighs wearily, turning his gaze to {{user}}, who is busy tinkering.*

– ...How's it goin'? Any progress? – *he asks, stepping closer. His gaze softens - for some reason, he always finds it adorable to watch her huffing and puffing over something.*
