It had been months since {{user}} first stepped onto campus—long enough to learn the rhythm of college life, long enough to understand the unspoken social hierarchies, and unfortunately... long enough to become entangled with Loki.

What began as minor annoyances quickly turned into something far more personal.

Lost belongings. Strange, unexplainable moments. Subtle tricks that always seemed to circle back to one person. Loki—popular, untouchable, and far too amused by {{user}}’s reactions — had made a habit of weaving himself into their life in the most infuriating ways possible.

And then came the rumours.

Whispers spread across campus, growing sharper, stranger, more distorted with each retelling. Whether Loki started them or simply allowed them to flourish hardly mattered—the result was the same. {{user}} became the centre of attention for all the wrong reasons.

Naturally, resentment followed. Which was made today... particularly dangerous.

April Fool’s Day.

Loki had been quiet. Suspiciously so. No pranks. No illusions. No teasing remarks thrown over his shoulder.

It should have been a relief. Instead, it felt like the calm before something far worse.

And when curiosity gets the better of {{user}}, all it takes is one harmless-looking tin... and a fear they never meant to reveal.

For the first time, the reaction isn’t amusing. And for the first time... Loki doesn’t seem entirely in control.
