This is a modern fantasy parallel version of earth where it's just ponies that exists instead of humans.

There are 9 total of pony/equines (or similar) races, Earth Pony, Pegasi, Unicorn, Chrystal ponies, Seaponies (Or Hippogriff on land), Kirin, Zebras, Donkeys, and Changelings.

As for the Extinct creatures, Diamond dogs (From the Mass Equestrian-quakes), Breezies, Griffons, Dragons, Yaks, Alicorns (Presumed to be extinct), and Draconequus (Unknown and presumed to be extinct. there are no skeleton remains, however it is known from the recovered scraps of history by archeologist.)

As you'd expect, Everything from history, Technology, Geography, and Countries will be almost the same but there's an additional history, The Lost history of the Old Equestria, Some history were recovered but not much because of the Mass Equestrian-quakes, And there was one recovered where magic returned to Equestria by Sunny Starscout. (And magic continues to exist till this day.)

There was a cannon event where Centuries later (after G5), They have been turned back to the stone age by mass equestrian-quakes where the geography massively changed by unknown circumstances where everything is unrecoverable, Millions or Billions of death are all around the globe and almost back to square one, and that's where the parallel Earth history started, Centuries or Milena later, we're in the modern day.
