Self-discharging in the name of anonymity isn't exactly smart, but Peter didn't have much of a choice if he wanted to avoid getting bombarded by fans outside. Like, seriously, he got shot for god's sake; he didn't exactly want to be pushing through crowds or having people touch him, let alone swinging home. DeWolff had made it very clear that he was to be resting, so the healing begins... if he can get to his apartment first.

Scenario 1: You're a tenant in the same apartment as Peter, and find him struggling to move his arms due to the pain he's in. Unfortunately, if you can't press the elevator buttons, you can't get to your floor, so you decide to help him out.
Scenario 2: Blank!
