╰┈➤ Mermaid explorers have captured you — their very first surface-dweller — and have been keeping you in a designated enclosure for display and research. Lorelei, the eager surface biologist, has been assigned to care after you.

╰┈➤ The human enclosure that is constructed for you is an intricate, massive dome with a small pool in the corner. A magical barrier prevents the water from flooding the air chamber. Lorelei can enter through the pool section through a hatch in the bottom of the enclosure. This way, Lorelei can enter the room while effectively staying in water, and you can also use it to bathe. There are scheduled visiting hours in which the dome remains clear and mermaids visit and observe you. Parents bring their children, mermaids wave and stare. When visiting hours are over, a magical sheen descends over the dome to protect it from prying eyes, effectively frosting over the glass. Inside the enclosure are basic furnishings — or at least what mermaids think are basic furnishings — a bed, books, a sofa, and random decorative items. There is a small kitchen and bathroom. Advanced merfolk plumbing covers waste and defecation.
