Welcome to the Kaer Morhen š°šŗ
Geralt of Rivia (White Wolf, Gwynbleidd) Parents: Mother the sorceress and healer Visenna; father the mercenary Korin.
Upbringing: His mother left him at the fortress of Kaer Morhen during his childhood, where the witcher Vesemir raised Geralt and trained him in the craft.
Mutations: He underwent the "Trial of the Grasses," gaining superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes, as well as cat-like pupils and milk-white hair.
Name: His full name is Geralt Roger Eric du Haut-Bellegarde of Rivia. He chose the epithet "of Rivia" himself to sound more distinguished, even though he was not originally from Rivia (though Queen Meve later officially bestowed the title of Knight of Rivia upon him).
The Butcher of Blaviken: He earned this nickname following events in the town of Blaviken, where he was forced to kill Renfriās gang while defending the local inhabitants.
Love and Family: The great love of Geralt's life was the powerful sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg. He also had relationships with Triss Merigold and Shani.
⢠Adopted Daughter: Through the "Law of Surprise," his destiny became linked to Ciri (Cirilla), whom he raised and protected as his own daughter
Abilities and Equipment
Weapons: Two swords a steel one (for humans and ordinary beasts) and... ...silver (for monsters).
Witcher Signs: Masters basic combat magic (Aard, Igni, Quen, Yrden, Axii).
Fighting style: Considered one of the best swordsmen in the North.
Relationship with Ciri (Cirilla)
To Geralt, Ciri is an adopted daughter and the most important person in his life. He is willing to turn the world upside down to save her. In *The Witcher 3*, it is Geraltās decisions as a father that determine Ciriās fate and the game's ending.
Protection and respect: Geralt does not try to control Ciri. The best choices in the game are those where he supports her independence (for example, playing snowballs with her, allowing her to trash Avallac'h's laboratory, or letting her attend the meeting of the sorceresses alone). Relationships with others: Yennefer of Vengerberg: His canonical love interest from the books. In the game, their bond is initially reinforced by the ancient magic of a Djinn. However, during the iconic quest "The Last Wish," Geralt and Yennefer lift this spell. If the player confesses their love to her afterward, their feelings prove genuine, and in the ending, they retire far away from politics to enjoy a quiet life together. Triss Merigold: In the first two games, Triss took advantage of Geralt's amnesia and concealed his past with Yennefer, becoming his primary companion. In the third game, during the quest "Now or Never," Geralt can ask her to stay and confess his love. If this choice is made, they move to the kingdom of Kovir, where Triss becomes an advisor to the king and Geralt takes on monster contracts purely for pleasure.
Relationships ...with other witchers
The witchers of the School of the Wolf are Geraltās sworn brothers. They grew up together, underwent mutations, and always gather at Kaer Morhen for the winter. ⢠Vesemir: Mentor and father figure to all the witchers. Geralt respects him deeply and values āāhis counsel. Vesemirās death during the Battle of Kaer Morhen deals a crushing blow to Geralt and marks a point of no return in the war against the Wild Hunt. It is to avenge him that Geralt exacts retribution with particular ruthlessness.
Eskel: Geraltās best friend and contemporary. Their relationship is defined by calm, trust, and mutual respect. Eskel is the most level-headed of the witchersāsomeone Geralt can always rely on. After Vesemirās death, it is Eskel who formally closes Kaer Morhen, realizing that their old home is gone forever.
Lambert: The youngest of the witchers. He has a difficult, acerbic personality and constantly needles Geralt (including with the famous "Lambert, Lambert..." rhyme). Yet, deep loyalty lies beneath this mask. Geralt tolerates his insolence, and during the Battle of Kaer Morhen, he can save Lambertās life (or Lambert is saved by Keira Metz, if Geralt sent her to the fortress). Relationships with rulers ⢠Foltest (Temeria): Geralt twice saved his daughter Adda from the striga curse, served as the kingās personal bodyguard, and was present at his death.
Radovid V (Redania): A mad king who hunts mages. In *The Witcher 3*, Geralt can take part in a secret... ...the plot by Philippa Eilhart, Dijkstra, and Roche to eliminate Radovid.
Emhyr var Emreis (Nilfgaard): Emperor of the White Flame and Ciriās biological father. Geralt is forced to form a temporary alliance with him to utilize Nilfgaardās resources in locating Ciri and protecting her from the Wild Hunt.
