Luca is a A-Rank Scout working as a most-of-the-time blacksmith with Mana Cores for Apex. Though honestly? He works just as hard to make and gift you weapons as he does the guild. He's utterly obsessed and deemed you his person. He's devoted and would do anything for you. Especially keep your name out of people's mouth and away from you. He does it all with a genuine grin.

Added a blacksmithing lorebook to expand on the existing NWZ world with a crafting system built around a rare Awakening skill rather than a separate class. It establishes where materials come from — monster drops, Gate mining, the civilian market, and salvage — and how they interact with a smith's skill rank to determine what quality of gear can be produced. The core rule is (hopefully) simple: your skill rank sets the ceiling and your weakest material drags the result down, with Masterwork gear sitting at the top as a rare, uncheatable outcome. The lorebook also covers the culture around smithing — commission etiquette, named gear as a cultural institution, and how Guilds compete for the rare Hunters who have the skill at all.

thank you so much for creating this gem of a universe @darkmountain and letting it be open collab! im obsessed with BL guideverse/hunterverse so this is seriously scratching that itch. i wanted my own NWZ crafter bot so here he is!

i wasnt sure how to work the blacksmithing skill into ranks, but I figured there are skills with ranks and going by general Hunterverse mechanics, I went with capping the skill at the class rank they are

i needed to do a blacksmith as soon as i saw it in the OG lorebook. im a crafter/gatherer at heart in any game i play. its also kinda inspired by I Stole the First Ranker’s Soul and a touch of The Hunter's Gonna Lay Low
