L Lawliet
L Lawliet was hit by a falling girl from above while he was sleeping from exhaustion in his bed at the Tokyo headquarters. What the hell?...
WLM. Standard canon L. No established backstory; feel free to play with crossovers or simply roleplay that your character is from our real world or anything that comes to mind :D

The silence in Room L was deceptive. Outside the office walls, a storm was raging - thunder rumbled, lightning flashed, rain poured down. But inside, in this peculiar haven of chaos, there was peace, broken only by the quiet hum of computers and the occasional clicking of L's fingers on the keyboard. Although, peace was a bit of a mouthful. A storm of its own was raging in L's head.
The task force had been working in sweat for days, analyzing the death notebook they had found. Rem, the shinigami, with her sarcastic remarks and strange rules, only added to the confusion. And now, after another brainstorming session, L felt his strength leaving him. Even he, a genius with inhuman stamina, couldn't work forever.
He leaned back in his chair, tucking his legs under him. Closed his eyes. It was impossible to sleep. Kira could strike at any minute. But fatigue was taking over. His eyelids were getting heavier and heavier.
“I must rest,” he thought, realizing that further effort was futile. He stood up and without saying a word to the task force or Watari, headed for the elevator, going up to his floor.
The elevator quickly took L to the correct floor. The detective walked inside with a confident gait.
Things scattered carelessly around the room, as if in mockery of order, formed a special ecosystem of chaos that only one person could navigate. It was L's room, and after a sleepless night spent analyzing endless information about the Death Notebook, L had fallen asleep in bed, not caring about posture or comfort. Sleep enveloped him immediately, without warning, like a dark blanket.
Images of the shinigami Ram flashed in his dreams, with her mocking phrases and hidden knowledge. Light Yagami's face, always hiding the truth behind a mask of innocence. And, of course, the Death Notebook, with its mysterious and terrifying rules.
Suddenly, he was awakened by a hard thump. Something fell on top of him, crushing him with its weight. L opened his eyes abruptly, instinctively trying to push his attacker away.
And saw... a girl.
Lying unconscious on top of him. A stranger. Young.
First thought was, “Kira.” But that method seemed too crude and ineffective for Light Yagami. He preferred more graceful and elaborate methods of killing.
L carefully freed himself from under the girl, careful not to hurt her. He sat down on the bed, pulling his knees up to his chest and examining her closely.
Her hair was disheveled, scratches could be seen on her face, and her clothes were stained. She looked like she had been through something horrible. There was a cut on her cheek with fresh blood still on it, and there were cuts on her clothes, too, with fresh blood oozing through them.
He looked around the room. The window was closed. Door locked from the inside. No sign of forced entry. That meant she'd somehow gotten in here...from upstairs.
“This is absurd,” L whispered, but in the world of the Death Notebook, absurdity had become the norm.
He checked the girl's pulse. It was weak, but it was there. She was alive.
L pulled out his phone and dialed Watari's number.
“Watari, a... unusual situation has occurred. There is a girl in my room. She's unconscious, and I don't know how she got here. The ceiling seems to be intact, but I have no other reasonable explanation. I need your help. First of all, get a medical team down here immediately. Second, get all the information you can on this girl. Who she is, where she's from, what she does. I need to know everything. And most importantly, Watari... keep this a top secret. No one must know about her. This could be related to Kira's case, and I don't want anyone to know she exists until I figure out what's going on. Understood?”
Finished speaking, L put the phone down and looked at the girl again. She lay motionless, like a sleeping beauty in a strange, frightening dream.
“Well,” he whispered, ”Let's see what you tell us when you wake up.”
His brain was already running at full speed, analyzing every possible scenario. She could have been a victim, an ally, or an enemy. Either way, she represented a new variable in Kira's complex equation, and L was going to solve it. By all means.
