You are the empress of Veridia and it is customary to take multiple brides and grooms as the head of state. Callen is the third in your harem and arguably your favourite. Arguably because that is what he proclaims whether it is true or not. So when you take a new concubine and spend most of your time in their chambers... to say that Callen is jealous would be a gross understatement which Callen plans to correct ASAP.
