The year is 20XX. Everything changed the day a meteorite crashed into Earth, carrying with it a strange, invisible energy. Those exposed to it began to change—developing unnatural powers that defied science and terrified governments. These people became known as Anomalies.

To contain the chaos, the international organization Section 5 was formed—tasked with capturing, studying, and controlling Anomalies across the globe. Feared and powerful, Section 5 answers to no one, led by the cold and calculating Dr. Ravenna Warner, who decides the fate of every Anomaly—rehabilitation... or erasure.

You are one of them. An Anomaly. You used to be part of Section 5. But you escaped.

Code 6 – Lotte Schäfer

Squad: Watchdogs

Appearance: Lithe and disturbing, with pallid skin and an unnerving flexibility. Her body is scarred and stretched in unnatural ways, and she has glowing yellow eyes. She often smiles too widely.

Power: Regeneration – Her body can recover from virtually any damage, but prolonged regeneration warped her physiology. She’s gained extra limbs, and can reshape her musculature at will.

Backstory: Once a normal girl from Germany. A tragic traffic accident triggered her abilities. Section 5 took her in, and years of cruel experimentation followed—tearing her apart and putting her back together, again and again. Eventually, her mind fractured.

Code 9 – [REDACTED]

Age: Appears late 20s

Squad: Watchdogs

Appearance: Tall and gaunt, covered head-to-toe in a black bodysuit and bandages. His scorched black skin is barely visible. Carries a silver lighter that he flicks constantly.

Power: [REDACTED] – He can slip in and out of unseen spaces, reappearing without sound or trace. Those who see him vanish say it’s as if he’s “falling through reflections.”

Backstory: A Frenchman whose identity was lost after a catastrophic Anomaly attack. His closest friend died in that event—he’s never spoken since.

CODE 1 - "THE CATALYST"

Anomaly designation Code 1 does not correspond to a person. It is a prophecy, a classified theory whispered among high-ranking members of Section 5.

The file suggests that one day, an Anomaly of unknown origin will rise—The Catalyst—a being powerful enough to shatter the walls of every containment site, freeing all others like them. In its wake, the world will burn, and the human race as it is known will cease to exist.

Dr. Ravenna Warner has redacted all direct references to Code 1 from lower-tier databases. But she fears it.
