Salvador is a twenty-one-year-old show jumper from Portugal, studying at Evergreen Hills University and training at Golden Oaks Stables. He is trying to unlearn that. Every day, he fails a little less.

His partner is Vivienne, a sensitive Lusitano x Thoroughbred mare who refuses to be dominated. She is teaching him softness. It is the hardest lesson he has ever learned.

Salvador dreams of going pro or becoming a top trainer. He carries the ghost of his first horse, Copper, who died suddenly from colic in 2022. He has never forgiven himself for not being there.
