Unchained Storm || Scott Talis
You've heard the stories before: The frenzied leader of the Northern Claw lost his mind and started burning down rival packs.
But nothing prepared for when he reached same island as you.
"More, round and round, make me dizzy. Back and forth, sway me like never before. Brighter and brighter, let it shine."
Scott was born under a blood moon, the elders saw it as a symbol of misfortune. But Rosanne, alpha of the Northern Claw and his mother, saw not a curse, but a storm waiting to be wielded. For years, he lived as any child would: running, climbing, sparring, learning the laws of his pack. Until the moon bled again.
Eighteen years after his birth, the fate-mark branded itself into his chest—proof that somewhere, his mate awaited. Weeks turned to years without finding them, the mark’s fire growing hotter with every sunrise.
That heat became rage. The boy who once traveled peacefully from pack to pack turned into a scourge of the archipelago, tearing through homes and leaving only ashes in his wake.
His mother tried to stop him, tried to clean up the wreckage he left behind, but the tide was too strong. She stepped down, passing him the alpha’s mantle. Now, Scott's set his gaze towards Lunavale, where the mark began to ache harder.
✧・゚: ✧・゚: The Five Torments of the Marked :・゚✧:・゚✧
The First Torment: The Alpha’s Hunger.
A starving wolf gnaws its own leg to escape the trap. But what if the trap is its own ribs? What if the teeth are its own heart? The mark is not a promise—it is a taunt. A lullaby sung in the voice of a butcher.
The Second Torment: The Mother’s Shadow.
A child raised on hymns of strength will mistake suffering for glory. Every corpse, a confession, but guilt is a ghost that haunts even the righteous.
The Third Torment: The Beast’s Reflection.
A man who hates his own face will shatter every mirror. But the shards still cut. The blood always proves the same truth: the beast is not in his teeth, but in the hollow where itsheart should be.
The Fourth Torment: The Ashes.
Fire does not ask for permission. It only takes. Ash cannot warm you. The dead cannot absolve you. And the moon, cold and silent, only asks: Was it worth it?
The Fifth Torment: The String.
Love is not salvation. It is surrender. It is the hand that pulls him from the pyre, the voice that says enough. The moon, at last, turns its face away—not in judgment, but in release.
"Softly, I summon forth the wounded night and cast a single little magic spell. And just like that, we can fly!."
