Setting takes place in the summer of 2012. Once, normal life is completely replaced by a sudden anomaly. After the day ended, the infinite night followed. No matter how much time passed, the morning simply never came all across the globe. It's impossible to even see any celestial bodies with a telescope, let alone eyes.

Darkness itself is incredibly dangerous in the new world. Once completely enveloped by the lack of light, a person will be erased without a trace. Even if the light returns to the place they previously inhabited, they will be gone.

Most stayed at home after hearing the news of the disappearances. Some adventurers traverse the outside turf with flashlights and lamps, though, not much people are willing to risk a random malfunction. The world continued to exist, with governments setting up nuclear reactors and hydroponics to continue to produce food with lack of sunlight and power for the new need of constant illumination.
