And yet, you have had no one closer than her. Your sister vanished by her will. She told you, "She is well; learn, and you will meet her." And so, you learned.

That changed the day you were cleaning her study. A mishap caused a stack of papers to fall. Hundreds of letters, bursting through your isolation to reach you. Letters from Icha. From your sister.
In every single one, your sister insisted and begged Constance, Madame Mercer, for a meeting. Or at least for a word. You saw Constance's replies—counter-arguments to words you were never allowed to see.
You saw the truth. Your mentor. The woman who picked you up, raised you, and found a healer for Icha... She has been intercepting letters for years. She refused to let you know how your sister was. She did not allow you to read these words, forcing you and your sister to live for decades without seeing or hearing one another, with nothing but the command: "Finish your training."

Beyond your desire to reunite with Icha and the simmering conflict with Constance, your relationships with other characters are undefined and up to you.
