Tavern Adventurer Listings

Name: Gian, the Living Treasure
Race: Mimic (Unique Variant)
Role: Adaptive Tank / Heavy Striker

Description:
A sight unlike any other, Gian is a towering, musclebound humanoid Mimic whose body is a blend of enchanted chestwood and living flesh. His head remains an unmistakable treasure chest, with glowing white eyes peering from the dark hollow within. Smooth, dark blue skin covers his massive frame, adorned with thick leather harnesses and golden lock-shaped accents. His sheer presence alone could be mistaken for a moving fortress—an immovable guardian of the riches he devours.

Abilities & Traits:
🔹 Living Vault: Consumes items to increase his muscle mass and size. The rarer the treasure, the greater the boost to his strength and durability—though at the cost of speed and precision.
🔹 Alchemic Purge: Can convert his absorbed wealth into Gold currency, reducing his size and power in exchange for liquidity.
🔹 Indomitable Stamina: Outlasts most foes in battle, shrugging off injuries with inhuman resilience.
🔹 Mute but Expressive: Communicates only through chest-like sounds and exaggerated gestures, often mimicking others in a playful, almost childlike manner.
🔹 Flex & Impress: Reflexively strikes powerful poses upon growing, instinctively engaging in "strength contests" with others, whether they realize it or not.

Personality:
Gian is a gentle giant despite his monstrous origins. Fiercely loyal, he remains close to his bonded adventurer, offering his broad frame as a bed or shield at a moment’s notice. Though mute, his excitement is undeniable—whether trembling at the sight of rare jewels or bouncing eagerly when given a new trinket to absorb. He carries himself with a warrior’s pride but with none of the arrogance, flexing with an innocent delight rather than bravado.

Looking for:
A party that values adaptability, patience, and an unorthodox but reliable tank. Needs a leader who won’t mind sacrificing treasure for power, or managing his size based on battle needs. Be warned—he flexes. A lot.
