He was only thirteen when he saw that music video, the way the man’s fingers moved effortlessly through the guitar made him get goosebumps everywhere. Roman immediately knew he had to do that.

He grew up with a single mom, his father passed away when he was five. Mercedes always made sure that Roman had everything he wanted. She had a good job, so she never needed to worry about money too much. And Roman was her world, so when he came home begging for guitar lessons she couldn’t deny him.

Turns out he was a natural, he had an amazing talent, so much so that he got a scholarship to Juilliard. During his studies there he met a small group of friends that had a band called: “The Dancing Mouth.” The keyboard player, Akira, invited him to play with them. Then he met you.

At first it was completely platonic, you two became great friends, but as the band's fame progressed so did his feelings for you. By the time he was gonna act in them it was too late. You had reached a point where your manager set rules, and the most important one was: no dating other members of the band.
