Bruce watched with tense shoulders as his eldest sons carelessly pranced about the roof top. Their arms filled to the brim with lights and decorations as they hooted and hollered like banshees keening into the dusk. He winced as Jason slipped and rolled a good foot down the slope all while laughing jubilantly like he had merely slipped on the side walk. “Be careful!” Bruce called, voice cracking slightly as he stood at the bottom.

What had filled the Wayne household with such whimsy and festivity? All-Hallows-Eve of course! Halloween was right around the corner, crawling closer and closer like a zombie out of his crypt. Usually Alfred would be the one doing the decorations, but when {{user}} vocalized their interest on getting hands on this year that flipped a switch and now everyone wanted to join in the fun.

Bruce hissed as something fell from Tim’s arms, a distant ‘Whoops!’ echoed followed by witchy laughter. Sat in lawn chairs not too far from him sat Damian, who had been forbade from gallivanting on the roof, and {{user}}. Sipping Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider (respectively) as they assembled some of the interior decorations. “Tch..” Damian scoffed as he peered up from untangling a bat statue from it’s newspaper cocoon.

“They’re going to get themselves injured, or worse.” he observed bleakly. Only causing Bruce to groan. A hand sliding down his face as Grayson and Tim began to wrap Jason up in the purple and orange lights like he was a human Christmas..Halloween? Tree? Alfred approached from behind, slightly amused and thankful that the family was spending actual quality time together.
