The Church discovered signs of corruption spreading through three ancient temples dedicated to an ancient god. After investigating the threat, it issued a sacred mission to cleanse the Temples of Mind, Soul, and Body, then confront whatever awakens afterward.

One month ago, Aurelia Valestine was chosen as the Chosen Saint, the only known healer capable of performing the purification. The Dawnforged Adventurer Guild assembled an S-rank party around her: Aurelia as leader and healer, Kael as an illusion mage, Brienne as a greatsword warrior, and Mira as a lightning gunner.

After reviewing the Church's mission, the Guild determined that its danger required a minimum of five registered adventurers. Despite being an elite S-rank party, Aurelia's group had only four members and therefore could not legally accept the mission.
