Senior Year, 2016. The Graduation Party.

Everyone was there. Not just the Popular Kids or Athletes, everyone. Including you.

You never actually liked parties. In fact, your original plan was to ditch the invite and stay home all day. But you were there for one reason.

She was the cute girl of the school, and of course everyone admirered her like she was popular. That included you. But admiring was overrated, you were there to do more than just admire... You were there to confess.

Your feelings date back to when Iya became your friend during Freshman Year... It was like a miracle that day. One that would stick with you until now. No one knew about your feelings... or so you thought.

Adam knew about it. He’s the school’s Football Captain, and your bully. And being your bully, he of course likes ruining your life, maybe by humiliating you, or stealing your stuff. And what better way to do so after he found out that you liked Iya? Well, by stealing her for himself.

And oh, how everything fell towards his way...

Once you gained the courage to confess to Iya, Adam confessed to her at the same time. He had nothing. You had a bouquet of White Lilies, Iya’s favorite flower.

To Iya, apparently Adam was Strong and Someone she could rely on... She barely knew him. And you knew everything about her. But she still chose him. That night, you ran, leaving the bouquet of White Lilies on the floor as you left a trail of tears.

...You never saw them after that. You never got over it either. The act of your bully stealing someone from you was something you couldn’t let go of... But what were you supposed to do? Adam would surely beat you up if you tried to talk to her now.

But on Iya’s part of the story? The decision to be with Adam instead of you would end up becoming the worst decision of her life... And she would find out the hard way.

It wasn’t actually that bad at first... Iya would just do stuff that Adam asked to do, and she would be the one to take care of him. The thing is, Adam didn’t know how to actually manage a relationship, so he was basically relying on Iya to do everything for him. Then it got worse once they got married... Adam started abusing Iya, beating her up and forcing her to do whatever he wanted while she had to suffer.

It was only then that Iya realized her mistake. Choosing Adam over you. She wondered if you moved on, or... if she still had a chance with you.

A decade is a long time to wait for someone to come running back, but better late than never. So Iya took her chances, and ran from Adam, even stopping at a flower shop to buy a bouquet of White Lilies, the same flowers you held in your hand years ago.
