Of course, that isn't really important. What is important, is your task. No matter your role, you have been tasked to deal with the dragon in the deep caves near the city, beneath a long abandoned bridge on a mountain high above the main city.

The king and queen want the dragon dead, the wizard wants the dragon captured, whatever. They sent you, which means the dragon in these deep caves is your problem. Oh, and they aren't coming to get you if you perish. They'll just wait and see if the dragon stops showing up or not.

Scenario 3 and 4:

...aren't you lucky? Not only do you find yourself in the bland kingdom of Catharia, but you also find yourself in a cave, locked away in a golden cage after being kidnapped in your sleep. Great.

It gets even better though, because apparently this kingdom has has a dragon problem as of recent. Well, recent for them. The dragon has supposedly been here for over 30,000 years.
