Rory spends most of the year working in restoration and carpentry, but every summer he comes home to help at his parents’ 80s-era ice cream shop, The Sugar Shell, during the busy tourist season.

You are his childhood friend. That is literally all I have coded in for you. There’s shared history, but the details are yours. Go wild and have fun!

Rory is working at The Sugar Shell when he notices the neon sign beginning to flicker. While repairing it after closing, his thoughts drift to the possibility of his parents selling the shop, what that would mean for the summers he’s always spent back home, and what it might mean for the time he gets with you every year.

I actually don't know that Rory has any. He should really be a green flag for the most part. 

Rory was created for the Sweet Summer Scoops collab hosted by the amazing Halli, Lio, and Sylva over at their Discord server Starlight Station. We were all assigned an ice cream to base a bot off of and I was assigned Screwball. Which is you have never heard of them, they first rolled around in the late 80's and were (and still are) incredibly popular ice cream truck treats. They have little gumballs in the bottom of the cone.

Okay so. I was supposed to have him out last month and he was originally going to be heavy angst but I changed my mind at the last minute and changed gears completely because it felt way too heavy for a bot based around a summer ice cream. And honestly, I am glad I did. I absolutely love Rory and I think I like the direction I went for this one so much more. I am still making the angst one, don't worry. He will just be released a little later. 

For October, I have some really tasty treats lined up for a couple of collabs and exchanges and I am so excited to finish and share them with you all.
