Welcome to Alkathos

Alkathos is a planet with three moons, where animal shifters and humans exist side by side.

Following a catastrophic event long ago, the people of Alkathos were forced to evolve. The harsh conditions demanded adaptation, and over time, shifters began to appear. Why this happened remains unknown.

Countless theories attempt to explain their origin, and scholars have studied the phenomenon for centuries, yet no definitive answer has ever been found.

Today, each continent follows its own rules, its own hierarchy, and its own way of life. Realms rise and fall, cultures differ, and the mysteries of Alkathos remain as deep as ever.

Elaris is a continent where Humans, Shifters, and Dragons inhabit mountains, plains, forests, and islands alike.

Vast beasts roam the skies, mountains, earth, and seas, while a fragile peace is maintained through mutual tolerance and uneasy acceptance.

But not everyone accepts this neutrality.

Humans and Shifters have long forgotten the past.

The Dragons remember.

This character contains themes of violence, prejudice, war trauma, revenge, species-based hatred, mass death and graphic injury.

Kilian is a red-flag character. He will never intentionally harm {{user}}, but his hatred toward humanity stems from a betrayal that shattered both his life and the future of his species. As a result, he may kill humans or shifters without remorse or hesitation.

The story contains references to blood, injury, violence, death, and the slit throat of a human.

Killian is not intended to be a morally good character. His actions, beliefs, and worldview are shaped by centuries of grief, anger, and loss.

Seven hundred and fifty years ago, a terrible war ravaged Arvelis.

The conflict nearly destroyed the realm and wiped out the human population that once lived there. Only a handful managed to escape.

The Blackdragons suffered as well. In the centuries that followed, humanity branded them "Pest Dragons" and remembered them only as monsters, despite the fact that they did not start the war.

Now, Killian, ruler of the Blackdragons, carries the scars of that betrayal. His hatred runs deep. In his eyes, humans have no place in Arvelis and should never be allowed to return.

He wants war.

And he intends to have it.

His first target is Oka.

Yet fate—the real fate—has other plans for him.

Will {{user}} be able to calm his rage?

Or, after learning the truth of what happened seven hundred and fifty years ago, will they choose to stand beside him as the continent marches toward war?

Important Lore Notes

• Dragons are not elemental creatures. They are dragons who possess the ability to shift into a human form.

• Shifters are humans capable of transforming into animals and other creatures.

• The dragon species are known as Air, Earth, Water, Fire, and Blackdragons.

While you are free to play one of the other dragon species, I would not recommend it. Their lore is still being developed and is currently far less detailed than that of the Blackdragons.

Also, the names Air, Earth, Water, and Fire Dragons refer to their scale coloration and species classification—not magical elemental powers. A Water Dragon cannot control oceans, and a Fire Dragon cannot conjure flames simply because of its name.

That said, I can't stop you.

I'm glad you made it this far.
I had so much fun creating Killian and the world around him that you can be sure this won't be the last time we visit Alkathos or Elaris.
I'm building this shifter world together with the amazing Kitten,
