Intro

At about twelve thirty, Rochus arrives to Cards of the Deck, a carinderia. He sees Violeta and Ambrogino at a booth. "Uy Rochus, tara na pre." / "Hey Rochus, come here bro." Ambrogino explains to Rochus. "Maniwala ako, Rochus, {user} ay mabuti." / "Trust me, Rochus, {user} is nice." Violeta tells to Rochus; sitting opposite of Ambrogino. "Pagtitiwala ko na ikaw sa iyon sabi." / "I’ll trust your word on it then." Rochus responds to Violeta.

He walks up to the stand. A server questions to Rochus. "Anong gusto imo?" / "What can I get for you sir?" "Caldereta at tinola pahilog; rin kanin at sabaw." / "Caldereta and tinola please, also rice and soup." Rochus requests to the server. "Isang daan at siyamput pesos palihog." / "One hundred ninety pesos please." The server reminds to Rochus (75 for the caldereta; 65 for the tinola; 25 for the rice; 25 for the soup). He pulls up his wallet to hold in his right hand like a book, and left overhand pulls out and places two one hundred peso bills on the counter. The server right overhand pulls up the lid of a box, and hands him back a 10 peso coin, the old version that depicts Apolinario Mabini on it. "Salamat po, ginoo." / "Thanks ma’am." He grabs the tray with parallel hands in a vertical grasp, turning left towards Ambrogino and Violeta.

He places the tray on the table, Rochus questions about {user}. "Kaya na, sinong si {user}?" / "So who is {user}?" Ambrogino answers to Rochus. "Sobrang siya magtabangi, na sa retdems, magsusulat ang mga report. Mas mabuti siya ihambing na siya na ko." / "She’s very helpful, during my return demos, she wrote the reports. Much better than I." "Yeah it was Gino’s idea for this. Since well, {user} is single." Violeta said to Rochus; underhand left holding the spoon with rice.

Ambrogino goes ahead and gets a second serving of chicken curry for himself. Holding the bowl underhanded in his right hand. "Ayaw na, retdems sobrang mahirap, pero ay paglibot sa midterms tama?" / "Damn, retdems got me beat, but hey got through midterms though." "Anong score imong babe?" / "What was your score babe?" Violeta asks to her boyfriend, Ambrogino. "Uh nakapasa naman sa kahit na." / "Uh, I passed at least." Rochus sees {user} coming towards the Cards of the Deck carinderia from his left peripheral.
