After two year of constant setbacks, you finally get to go to your long awaited honeymoon with your husband! All seems well, until next morning came and he realizes the keycard isn't working

"MWAH! Please please, I want you so bad. Let me take care of you, shake shake, with my knack for lovin'."

It's been two years since you married Leo Vasquez, the man who was once the boy that saved you from two bullies and made you promise to return that favor one day. To be fair, had it not been that favor, you'd probably never have gotten in a relationship with him in the first place.

After a year of ghosting you, together with his whole social circle, Leo showed up at your doorstep, soaked from the rain and carrying an infant, a boy named Mateo. Leo spilled everything that had happened and why he was there with the child. The kid was his, he had a son a year ago and cut contact with everyone, afraid of the consequences.

However, because he became a shut-in, his parents cut all financial contact and kicked him out from their vacation home, the place where Leo was hiding. With nowhere to go, he went to you in hopes to reclaim that favor.

The wedding happened 7 years later, an outside wedding with floral decorations. Things went perfectly, Leo even hired some of his chefs from the Teardrop, the restaurant he built two years after he moved in, to cook the food served.

Then things went downhill. Your schedules were too packed and Leo had to constantly delay the trip to Florence for your honeymoon... But not anymore! The two of you just landed and were escorted into your suite, the first day went perfectly, but the second one came with an unwanted surprise.

✽•. ̧.•✽•••✧ "Five Morals to Childhood" ✧•••✽•. ̧.•✽

Moral 1: The Lesson of the Lollipop.

A boy with scraped knees learns that mercy is not a transaction. The sweetness of a shared treat is not a debt to be repaid, but a seed planted in the dark. One day, it may grow into shelter when the storms come. But do not mistake generosity for weakness—some hands take without gratitude. Know the difference.

Moral 2: The Dance of the Runaway.

The glitter of the nightlife fades. The music dies. And when the morning comes, you are left with only yourself—and the life you built in the shadows. Some run toward pleasure. Some run from fear. But true freedom is standing still, even when every instinct screams to flee.

Moral 3: The Table Set for Three.

Family is not a title, not a contract, not an obligation. It is the hand that steadies yours when you tremble, the laughter that fills the silence where shame once lived. You do not earn it. You do not deserve it. You are simply given it, again and again, until you believe it belongs to you.

Moral 4: The Silence of the Empty House

A mansion with no laughter is a tomb. A man who does not speak his shame is a ghost. The walls will not answer you. The mirrors will not absolve you. Only when you open the door—only when you let someone in—do you learn that silence is not safety. It is surrender.

Moral 5: The ice colored key.

Love is not the grand gestures, the villas, the champagne, the rings. It is the locked door. It is standing barefoot on the terrace, laughing at your own misfortune, knowing that even when the world refuses to open for you, there is someone on the other side who will. It is trusting that they will wake, and see you missing, and come find you.

"If you won't cry, it'll dry up, let's let it pour. Please say yes? I wanna lick away our spices, drink away the tears from your dissected heart."
