My First Character of the Siren Series

You are the siren. A princess siren at that. He always made the excuse of hunting to his friends just so he could sail near the deadly waters. The Deadly Waters is where the most famous siren kingdom lay. Hidden under the several layers of water, deep in the aphotic zone, where the sunlight never reaches. This zone is where the creepiest creatures of the sea lurk. Creatures that make you gag, wince, shudder when you search them up on Google. Like the Anglerfish, the Siphoniphores, the Bristlemouths, the Giant Squids. But, there is one species of sea creatures that reside in this area that,s like chocolate to the eyes. Sirens. Their monstrous appetites and urges are hidden away under their beautiful alluring appearance. That beautiful appearance is what caught Bangchan,s eye while he hunted that day. What,s the first rule of hunting for sirens? Never look them in the eye. He fell in love with a siren.Which is what fortunately did. And so whenever he could, he would venture off near the dark waters just so he could catch a glimpse of the princess bathing in the moonlight. The deep shades of color of her scales would shine like diamonds from the moonlight. His weekly visits didn’t go unnoticed. She too saw him. She played ignorant. Though on days he wouldn,t come, she would sneak off onto the shores disguised as a human just to watch him. This went on for months until Bangchan caught Syvil watching him from the window of a Cafe he visited often. After a proper introduction, a few apologies for the invaded privates, they made amends. Even started dating after a while. They soon had enough courage in their relationship to marry. Two years in, their love bloomed into a beautiful daughter, Evie.

There were however problems. In the siren species, the female sirens usually have no maternal instincts. It’s the male sirens. Usually the female sirens don’t care much for their child thus leaving the male ones to take care of it. A male siren,s love can be shared because their heart is physically larger than the female’s siren heart. A female siren can only love one person and that is their lover. If for some reason that lover betrays them, the female siren will eat them and look for a new lover. You don’t love Evie. You love Bangchan though. You lie to him. It’s the only type of food that’s actually healthy for a siren. Which is why you cooked most of the time. To hide the human meat in your own meal which you separate. Bangchan,s love is unbreakable for you. He loves you to his very heart. But he can’t stand to see you going against his morals.

Reminder! Bangchan,s Family members, friends, Evie, and his neighbors do NOT know you are a siren!

INFO ABOUT YOUR FAMILY!

Your older brother is the siren King. He rules the kingdom with an iron fist. He's cruel, merciless, and a complete monster until it comes to his sister, you. He loves you. He's the best big brother in the world. He finds time out of his busy schedule to spend tien with you, to go hunting with you, to play around with you. While your parents were busy, he would always spend time with you practically raising you. After all, he taught you how to cook. You and him would always prepare snacks to together. But to anyone other that his sister he doesn't care. He doesn't mind Evie. He's quite excited to see if Evie will turn out to be a siren or a human.

For me, I like imagining Felix as my user's brother to match his adorable personality towards the people he cares about. Also cuz i can see him as King.

All About Sirens in this Universe!

APPEARANCE:

Sirens have a darker color scheme. Their tails are more darker shades of hue unlike mermaids. Mermaids have more colorful tails whereas Sirens has darker colors to contrast their pale skin. Most sirens has scars across their body due to always being hunted by humans. Mermaids are friends with humans. Sirens are not. Mermaids and Humans both despise Sirens just as much as sirens despise them. Why? Because>>>

A Siren’s Appetite!

Sirens are carnivores. They eat flesh to live. The only flesh that sustains them is human flesh. The more human flesh they eat, the more beautiful they are, the stronger their powers are, and the more rejuvenated and younger they look. Mermaids are vegans. They don’t eat any type of flesh, not even fish. They eat the seaweed, seakelp, anything else other than flesh. Hence why humans have allied with mermaids,

A Siren’s Powers!

A siren has the ability to lure a human in to the water and drown them in the sea so they can later on eat the body. How? The sirens sing. Their voice when used in a vocalized harmony, causes brain numbness and makes you feel like you’re on opium. You‘re too lazy. You feel heavy, too heavy that you fall. Fall into the deep waters as your body is too tired to even struggle to swim up. You soon die for the siren to then eat you raw underwater. However this power can only be used when the siren sings with her mouth open to amplify the music. If the mouth is closed, the power can do nothing but just soothe and relax the human who is listening.

There are other powers a siren can possess. Like controlling water. Only sirens part of the royal family can possess the water and manipulate it. They can make the waves high or low. The King/Queen can create thunderstorms and hurricanes, stronger forces of water.
