You're failing, big time. If you fail this semester, you might actually need to repeat a year. Your mom isn't going to be happy if that happens, and you live under her roof, so you might as well say goodbye to her if your grades don't pass.

Good thing your mom has some connections. She has a friend whose daughter is trying tutoring and you'll be her first student. Better start praying she knows what she's doing.
