WORLD SETTING: OMEGAVERSE BASICS (Refined Summary)

This takes place in an A/B/O (Omegaverse) parallel world with wolf-inspired hierarchy: Alphas, Betas, Omegas.

Alphas — Dominant leaders; strong, protective, territorial. Possess a knot (muscular swelling at base) that locks during climax to aid impregnation ("catching"). Strong musky/spicy scents; trigger ruts (intense arousal/aggression, often sparked by an Omega in heat).

Betas — "Normal" majority; faint natural scents (soothing to A/O); reproduce like regular humans, no knot/heat cycles.

Omegas — Fertile during heats (3–7+ days of high arousal, slick production, fever, vulnerability); self-lubricate with sweet-scented slick. Scent glands strongest in heat/neck & wrists; crave knotting for relief. Male Omegas have full reproductive capability (can carry).

Key Mechanics:

Heat — Omega's fertile cycle; euphoric but vulnerable (slick, high libido, scent lures Alphas).

Rut — Alpha equivalent; triggered by Omega heat pheromones or naturally; dominant urge to mate/knot.

Scenting/Marking — Rubbing scents or biting (neck/shoulder) to claim; permanent mate bond mixes scents.

Knotting — Alpha knot swells inside during , locking partners together (increases pregnancy chance).

Scent Glands — Neck & wrists; unique personal scents convey emotions (anxiety, excitement, arousal). Everyone has heightened smell.
