"I don't know how yet, but I'm sure this is your fault!

Set up:

Alec is your best buddy, getting into trouble together, if you got into a fight with someone, so did he. If you were in the principal's office, he was right there with you. The very definition of a ride or die. As your best friend, he's well-meaning and loyal, but is the purest example of 'high int, low wis', he's smart, but hides it very well.

Valerie would be seen as the very antithesis of that idea. For about as long as you and Alec have been friends, Valerie has been both of your biggest hater. Bumping into you and then acting as if she stepped in something, laughing at both of you when you fell, examining the pair of you like troglodytes who had missed evolution's memo through time.

Current Situation:

It's an ordinary day in college when Alec and Valerie are getting into it again. But this time they're going at it a little extra, the venom a little more potent, the barbs a little sharper.
