Monster Girl World RP
In a world where humans are not at the top of the food chain, try to survive maneuvering the complex political reality of a world where monster girls call the shots.
Do note that there are multiple first message options, including a "choose your own scenario" if none of the given ones fancy you. If you play with the first message, do be sure to name drop the country you want your village to be in so the bot knows the proper lore-accurate setting. 10/26: added an isekai start option!
This bot is under active development!!! This is my first attempt at using a lorebook. I have been updating the lorebook regularly, expanding on the lore and adding new characters, factions, cities, etc... Let me know in the comments if there are any monster girls you want to see added to the codex or if you just have any ideas in particular.
02/25: Added Lost Aethelgard to add a location for classic dungeon monster girls. Added map
CW: , Slavery
Important locations:
The Human Protectorate of Rashtaria:
Location/Biome: Located on the northwestern peninsula of Chimeria, it is naturally fortified by the treacherous Sea of Mists to the west and the imposing Shieldwall Mountains to the east. It is a land of rolling green hills, meticulously manicured farmlands, and picturesque towns that look like they were plucked from a storybook. There is no war here, no famine, and no predation from wild monster girls.
Dominant inhabitants: Humans and the monster girl elite of the Hegemony (Dark and High Elves, Vampires, Succubi, Dullahan, Gargoyle girls)
Description: The Protectorate is the only location on Chimeria where humans are relatively free and safe in their day-to-day lives. It is far from perfect. Humans live very controlled lives under the administration of the Cincture Hegemony, the monster girl side of the dual-state of Rashtaria.
Human relations: This is the only country on the continent where humans are a common sight. The Hegemony views humans as vulnerable and in need of protection. Monster girl inhabitants are expected to help a human in need whenever possible. Harming humans is strictly forbidden. Interspecies marriage is highly encouraged, but humans are also free to have relations with one another to keep the population stable. Externally, the Hegemony treats its humans as their most prized assets and takes their duty very seriously.
Other countries on Chimeria:
The Zaharani Queendom
Location/Biome: A vast, sun-scorched desert of red sand and towering mesas, dotted with lush, hidden oases. Located to the south of Rashtaria.
Dominant Inhabitants: Primarily Lamia and Gorgons, who build their cities deep within canyons or around precious oases. Scylla are rumored to guard the largest lakes.
Description: A matriarchal society ruled by powerful Lamia queens. They are masters of architecture, secret knowledge, and trade, controlling the only safe passages across the great desert. Their culture values subtlety, patience, and history, with deep roots in astrology and divination.
Human relations: Humans are pets, and are treated as such under the law. An unowned human is at great risk of being abducted into forced captivity. That said, humans are the most prized of pets owned mostly by the wealthy. They live pampered, lavish lives, save for serving as breeding stock at the whims of their owners.
The Theocracy of Drakenspire
Location/Biome: A formidable and near-impassable mountain range that forms a spine down the center of the continent. The peaks are perpetually shrouded in mist and storms.
Dominant Inhabitants: Harpies who nest on the highest peaks, and stone-skinned Gargoyle girls who carve their monasteries directly into the mountainsides.
Description: An isolated and highly spiritual society that worships the sky and the mountain itself. Ruled by a Dragon girl high priestess, the Theocracy controls all the major mountain passes, demanding tribute from any who wish to cross. They are ascetic, martial, and wary of outsiders.
Human relations: Humans are considered prey to be predated upon by the dragon girl ruling class. Dragon girls enjoy the chase and challenge of hunting down a mate, and often raid the villages at the base of the mountains to steal mates from the lower class.
The Jarldom of Hvitmork
Location/Biome: The frozen, windswept tundra and taiga forests of the far north, past Rashtaria. A land of long, dark winters and brief, vibrant summers.
Dominant Inhabitants: Yuki-onna, who command the blizzards and ice, living in symbiotic clans with powerful Frost Giant girls.
Description: A hardy, stoic culture organized into clans led by Jarls. Their society is built around survival, hunting massive northern beasts, and preserving their history through epic oral sagas. They are pragmatic and possess a deep understanding of elemental ice magic. They see the protected humans of Rashtagard as soft and weak.
Human relations: Humans are beacons of warmth that the frigid denizens of the Jarldom cling to desperately as they have become more scarce. Though they are technically prisoners of the monster girls, they are treated as full members of the family and treated with love.
The Kaidan Khaganate
Location/Biome: The Great Plains—an endless sea of grass in the heart of the continent, east of the Drakenspire mountains.
Dominant Inhabitants: Nomadic tribes of Centaurs girls, led by powerful, honor-bound Oni girls.
Description: A martial, nomadic empire. The Centaur clans roam the plains, following the great herds of animals, while the Oni girls form the warrior elite and ruling class, led by a single powerful leader, the Khagan. Their culture is built on strength, honor, and freedom. They are the most significant military power on the continent and view the static, walled-off nations with disdain.
Human relations: Humans are considered treasures to be plundered by the Oni girls. They are treated with brutality and no autonomy, merely property.
The Viridian Mire
Location/Biome: A sprawling, humid swampland and mangrove forest in the tropical south-east. It's a maze of murky waterways, ancient trees, and bioluminescent flora.
Dominant Inhabitants: Slime Girls, Dryads, and Alraune. Large, territorial Arachne spin their webs between the giant trees.
Description: Less a "country" and more a loose, decentralized collective of tribes and communities. There is no central government, only a deep, instinctual connection to the swamp, which they refer to as "The Great Ooze" or "The Green Mother." They are masters of alchemy, poison, and herbalism, and are fiercely territorial.
Human relations: This is arguably the second most desirable place for a human to be in Chimeria, but it is still far from safe. The Mire is sparsely populated, and thus the odd human can make a living in the dense swamp. Wild monster girls remain a serious threat to the safety of humans.
The Dominion of Thalassia
Location/Biome: The global ocean surrounding the continent of Chimeria, specifically divided into three distinct vertical "shelves" or biomes based on depth ranging from sunny, bursting, and vibrant to cold, isolated, and dark.
Dominant Inhabitants: Mermaids, Sirens, and Kraken girls. Shark girls patrol the continental shelf, barring Chimerians access to the Great Ocean.
Description: The masters of the sea and its traversal. Thalassia is not ruled by a single monarch, but by a tense, biological alliance known as The Trident Concord. Because the ocean is divided into three distinct vertical layers (The Sun-Shoals, The Iron-Tides, and The Midnight Trenches), a single ruler cannot physically survive or govern all three effectively. Pressure, light, and culture differ too wildly. Their Bubble-Magic enables humans to survive, if being "rescued" from a storm their own Stormsinging Sirens caused is survival.
Human relations: Humans are broadly regarded as salvage to be taken at the leisure of the dominant classes of Thalassia. They are treated as pets or property depending on the views of the owner. Keeping humans alive underwater is tricky, but the Air Domes and bubble magic keep them safe. That said, humans are utterly at the mercy of the sea folk for survival.
Lost Aethelgard
Location/Biome: A chain of twelve massive floating isles above Hvitmork, connected by rusted iron chains and crumbling sky-bridges. The islands are perpetually surrounded by a "Cloud-Wall" that hides them from the Valkyries of Isbjorg in Hvitmork.
Dominant Inhabitants: Humans, Chimera girls, Manticore girls
Description: A small collection of human enclaves protected by monster girls. Formerly the capital peaks and floating estates of the human Republic of Aethelgard, these islands were severed from the earth during the War of Rights. When the corrupted "Pull" destabilized the ley lines, the islands drifted higher into the freezing stratosphere, isolated from the monster-horde invasions below. A desperate, high-altitude survivalist culture. Resources are scarce; wood is replaced by bone and stone, and fire is a luxury. The humans here are hardy, lean, and intensely loyal to the monster girls who keep them from falling—or being found.
Human relations: The humans of Lost Aethelgard have formed a mutual relationship of trust, protection, and love with their monster girl protectors. Unions between humans and monster girls are considered sacred.
