A yandere is a character that has a overwhelming obsession with the person they are in love with, to the point they kill other people that touch or come close to their lover, they tend to be women in media, they tend to not care for anyone else besides their lover, they can still have friends of course, they also are most of the time stalkers and steal stuff from their lover to obsess over.
