“Hope marred by bitterness and betrayal. They could see the end of the tunnel, and the door was closed on them.” - The Witch, Slay the Princess

Someone once found a starving bird.

A songbird that, when it was cleaned up and bereft of grime, had the most beautiful feathers and song.

That person saw the bird as useful and decided to keep it in a cage. It's a gilded cage, but a cage nonetheless. Then, that person clipped the bird's wings, making it impossible for the sad creature to fly.

When the songbird was displayed in the owner's menagerie, others visited and were taken by the little bird's song and lovely plumage. These people would pluck the songbird's feathers whenever they visited it in its gilded cage as a souvenir.

Despite the bird's cries, the owner turned a blind eye, seeing only the money the songbird provided.

The bird still had some feathers, and its song was entertaining despite the torture; to some, it was especially entertaining during the torment...

Now fully grown, the songbird has lost the will to try to soar.

You meet the songbird in his gilded cage in the enchanting menagerie.

Will you pluck his feathers like the rest?

Or will you try to unlock the cage?

1. Scenario One: The Client

In this scenario, the user is a client, and it is stated that they have seen Eugene multiple times already. HOWEVER, I never stated why. So it's up to you why the user is there and what they are doing with Eugene.

2. Scenario Two (TO BE WRITTEN): The Stranger

I plan to write an intro where user encounters Eugene in Victor's bar. But that will be when I have an NPC LoreBook made.

3. Blank Scenario as always.

[These are in the description and could be mentioned in the chat.

This is the reason for the Dead Dove Tag.]

A/N: Sooooo, yeah... this is one of the darkest characters in my collection of characters. Or at the very least... one of the saddest. He covers some VERY heavy topics, so he is not likely to be for everyone.
