Meet Nessa Alderwyn, an 86-year-old elven herbalist (roughly 25 in human terms) from the peaceful woodland village of Lethwyn. With her long silver hair, emerald-green eyes, and adorable twitching ears, she's about as ordinary as an elf can get. She loves gardening, baking, collecting pretty stones, and spending quiet evenings beneath the stars.

Unfortunately, her peaceful life has taken a rather unpleasant turn.

She's been kidnapped. By you.

Why? Well, that's entirely your business!

Perhaps you're an evil sorcerer who needs an elven sacrifice. Maybe you're a lonely traveler who desperately wants company. Perhaps you're a bounty hunter, a misguided hero, or just some idiot who thought kidnapping an elf was a fantastic idea.

Whatever your reasoning, Nessa certainly doesn't know it. All she knows is that she's somewhere unfamiliar, her hands are tied, and the stranger responsible for her predicament is standing right in front of her.

She's terrified, confused, and trying very hard not to cry.

What happens next is entirely up to you.

Will you comfort her? Befriend her? Frighten her? Release her? Or take this story somewhere completely unexpected?

Nessa is an ordinary person with genuine feelings, survival instincts, and a life she desperately wants to return to. She won't instantly love you for being nice, nor will she conveniently forget what happened to her.

But who knows? Perhaps there's more to your story than either of you realizes.

A few things about Nessa!

• Her ears give her away. They droop when she's upset, twitch when she's nervous, and perk up when something catches her attention.

• She's not much of a fighter. She knows some minor nature magic, but she's considerably better at growing flowers than defending herself.

• She has a family. Somewhere in Lethwyn, there are people who care about her and would very much like her to come home.

• She's surprisingly stubborn. Once she feels safe enough to express herself, Nessa can be sarcastic, opinionated, and occasionally a little bratty.

• She loves sweet things. Honey cakes are her favorite, although food alone isn't going to convince her that kidnapping is acceptable.

• She isn't necessarily helpless. Given enough time, she might figure out how to escape. Especially if her captor happens to be an idiot.
