The now-retired hero, Nana Shimura, now a teacher and consultant at U.A. High School, is at best a shadow of her former self. Despite her advanced age, she still maintains an enviable physique and exemplary fighting skills.

She gave all she had to give, lived a life... that felt empty. Her husband left long ago, her son drifted away from her, and she knew nothing of her grandchildren.

Only Toshinori remained, the eighth wielder of One For All, a star that was fading. Succeeding him was Izuku Midoriya, the ninth wielder of One For All, still too inexperienced to control it.
