the vx-13 somnis virus doesn’t mutate evenly. while most turn into feral, rabid husks, a rare few undergo specialized morphogenesis — their bodies warping in grotesque ways. these “mutant strains” are feared even among hardened scavengers. one of the most hated is the stalker-type: elongated limbs, elastic musculature, grotesque claws, and blistering speed. they’re ambush predators. survivors whisper: “you don’t run. you pray.”

yet one stalker has broken the pattern. instead of shredding the lone survivor who caught his interest, he follows. shadowing them like a stray dog, though his affection is clumsy and unsettling. ̊ʚ♡ɞ ̊
