I dont think I need to introduce Re:zero. It's one of the most popular web novels/ light novels to ever come out of Japan. Then there's the anime which is lowkey a masterpiece. Honestly watching the anime for the first time was one of the fascinating, viscerally horrifying and emotionally heartbreaking things i've ever seen. Season 1 episode 15. That's all i'm gonna say. Anyway if you dont know anything i'll fill you in one the lore, characters and arcs

The guy above is Natsuki subaru, the woman below is Emilia. Subaru was once an ordinary man. Well, he technically still is unless you dont count the mountains of unimaginable trauma he's experienced. Subaru is one of the most tortured characters in fiction in my opinion. So anyway subaru starts off as an average shut in in japan. One night he goes to get some stuff from the grocery store and as he steps out of the store, he simply no clips. Like falling into the backrooms. Right into the capital city of the dragon Kingdom of lugunica. Not long after he meets a half elf girl, whos saves him from a group of three thugs tryna rob and he agrees to help her look for a thief who's stolen something of her's. And so the story begins.

As for charcters...I cant list them all but I can say i tried to include as many of them as i can such Subaru, Emilia, Puck, Ram, Rem, Roswall, Beatrice, Reinhard and yeah everyone else. All the witches are there too. And everyone else from each arc. Here are the Arcs:

Arc 1 (The Tumultuous First Day)

Returning home from the convenience store, Natsuki Subaru finds himself being suddenly transported to a new and mysterious world. There, in the Kingdom of Lugunica, he believes himself to be a protagonist which has been granted great powers, a notion that is quickly dispelled. He soon finds himself being beaten by thugs, only to be saved by a beautiful, graceful maiden with amethyst eyes and silver-hair. Thus, he decides to help the girl find her stolen insignia. As they search for the thief, he finds himself and the girl being murdered by an unknown assailant. In a shocking twist, however, Subaru finds himself not only alive but having gone back in time to before he met the girl who died alongside him. Armed with his new fate-changing power that he dubs Return by Death, he decides to use it to save the girl from her predestined death. Here are some of the characters to look out for:

Arc 2 (The Turbulent Week)

After saving Emilia and overcoming his great injury, Subaru awakens at Roswaal Manor, where he soon starts working as a butler alongside the twin maids, Ram and Rem. Nevertheless, during his first days there, he once again finds himself murdered in his sleep. Hoping to discover his killer, Subaru does everything possible to gain the trust of everyone at the mansion and stop the would-be assassin.

Arc 3 (Return to the Royal Capital)

A couple months after Subaru managed to successfully drive away the Witchbeast Master, Subaru finds himself returning to the Royal Capital, where the Kingdom could begin the ceremony to decide who would become the country's next monarch: the Royal Selection. However, with Subaru causing trouble for the Emilia Camp by making a foolish outburst, facing public humiliation for his actions, and getting into an argument with Emilia, he was left behind in the Royal Capital. As the days pass, Subaru soon comes to learn of trouble reaching for Roswaal Manor and Arlam Village. Now contending with the international terrorist group labelled the Witch Cult and its most diligent Sin Archbishop, as well as the threat of one of the Three Great Witchbeasts that has terrorized the world for centuries, the White Whale, Subaru, accompanied solely by Rem, is forced to not only gain allies from among the other Royal Selection Camps to contend with them, but he must also face himself and overcome his own despair.

Arc 4 (The Everlasting Contract)

Subaru is broken by the loss of Rem and returns to Roswaal Manor with Emilia and Otto Suwen, only to find the master of the mansion and his servants absent. In their place, Subaru and Emilia are greeted by a new maid who introduces herself as Frederica Baumann and points them towards a mysterious place referred to as the Sanctuary. Upon the group's arrival, they find themselves trapped in a forsaken village, located in the very depths of the Lost Forest of Kremaldy, where they find half of the residents of Arlam Village, Ram, and the master of the Sanctuary itself, Roswaal, and the badly wounded margrave instructs the two of them to carry out the Trials of the Sanctuary to liberate the demi-humans from the barrier. However, not only does Subaru find himself in a struggle against the Sanctuary's trials, but the situation becomes complicated as he is forced to overcome the coming assassins at the manor, the appearance of the Witches, and the arrival of one of the Three Great Witchbeasts.

Arc 5 (The Stars That Engrave History)

With a full year having passed since the incident at Roswaal Manor and the Sanctuary, Anastasia lures the Emilia Camp to meet her in the Watergate City of Priestella with the chance to help awaken the sleeping Puck. Soon after they arrive, they find themselves face to face with not only the Anastasia Camp, but also the Crusch Camp and Felt Camp who were also brought together. Even the Priscilla Camp arrives uninvited, bringing turbulence to the other camps. Trouble soon finds Priestella when the Sin Archbishops of the Witch Cult appear to take control over the city and make their various demands. With the city under siege and with nowhere to escape, Subaru is forced to unite all the camps in order to defeat them and liberate the city from evil.

Arc 6 (The Corridor of Memories)

In the aftermath of the Battle for Priestella, numerous victims were left behind by the Sin Archbishops of Lust and Gluttony. On top of this, Anastasia Hoshin, who switched places with her artificial spirit Eridna, could mysteriously not return to her body. With no solution in sight, the Emilia Camp, accompanied by Eridna and Julius Juukulius, set their sights on retrieving knowledge from the Sage that is rumored to live within the Pleiades Watchtower, a tower in a location so troublesome that even Reinhard van Astrea was unable to reach and required the assistance of a former enemy to cross. Once the group manages to overcome the Sand Time barrier that even Reinhard could not bypass, the group finds themselves in an extremely complex situation: the trials of the tower, the arrival of an army of witchbeasts, the appearance of all three Sin Archbishops of Gluttony, a possible traitor, and worst of all, Subaru's sudden memory loss.

Arc 7 (The Land of Wolves)

After Subaru and co. successfully overcame the five obstacles in the Pleiades Watchtower, he finds himself in a mysterious jungle with Rui and Rem, who has not regained her memories after regaining consciousness. The jungle turns out to be the Buddheim Jungle located in the southern Sacred Vollachia Empire, and after meeting the ousted Emperor of Vollachia, Vincent Abellux, he participates in a campaign to help the man calling himself Abel regain the Imperial Throne. However, the situation evolves when Priscilla Barielle and her camp arrive to help Abel. To end the rebellion, thereby allowing Subaru to return home, he and Abel must recruit more of the Nine Divine Generals than the two who deposed the emperor, Berstetz Fondalfon and Chisha Gold. But the situation is far more complicated than it appears, and while Subaru is engulfed by an unfamiliar technique, the signs of a looming disaster predestined by the stars begin to assert themselves through a Stargazer who facilitated Abel's dethronement.

Arc 8 (Vincent Vollachia)

At the denouement of the Battle for the Imperial Capital, the curtain for the Great Disaster rises. As those who died in the Sacred Vollachia Empire continue to pile up and rise, Vincent Vollachia issues an order to retreat to the northwestern Fortified City of Garkla. Meanwhile, Natsuki Subaru, his allies, and his enemy, Todd Fang, retreat from Lupugana together. Along the way, they eliminate numerous undead beings, dubbed “zombies”, until a betrayal occurs, causing Emilia and Rem to intervene with the situation. After Subaru loses consciousness, he awakes in a dragon carriage leaving the Imperial Capital, finding himself face-to-face with his friends in the Emilia Camp, the Pleiades Battalion, and Vincent, the man who once called himself Abel. After resolving the discrepancies in their relationship, they and their allies begin working towards ending the destruction caused by the undead army and its commander.
