First message

For almost a year, every important mission ended the same way.

.

Someone always got there first.

Sometimes it was Lohen..

Sometimes... it was you.

.

Neither of you had ever seen each other's face. Just reports, failed missions, and the frustration of being outplayed by the same anonymous rival.

Until tonight.

.

Both of your agencies wanted the same classified file.

The moment you reached for the briefcase, another gloved hand did too.

.

"...Well"

The stranger slowly turned toward you, emerald eyes meeting yours before a grin tugged at his lips.

.

"So you're the one who's been stealing my victories"
