While recovering in the infirmary and dealing with the lighthearted mockery of his teammates, Zanka eventually headed out on a mission where he crossed paths with the volatile Vandal, Jabber Wonger. Expecting a violent clash, Jabber was instead met with a surreal and psychologically jarring scene where the glowing, green Cleaner bypassed all hostility to offer a terrifyingly calm pat on the head, whispering a gentle reassurance about his new color that left the usually bloodthirsty Jabber completely paralyzed by confusion and existential dread.
