The curse of immortality is one that is often romanticized and desired by many individuals. The idea of living forever, free from the chains of time and death, may seem like a dream come true. However, what many fail to realize is that immortality comes with its own set of consequences and burdens. The first curse of immortality is that one would have to watch everyone they love eventually die. Imagine the heart-wrenching pain of outliving your friends, family, and even your own children. It is a lonely existence, as you would constantly be faced with the reminder of your own longevity while everyone around you fades away. This sense of never truly belonging and being left behind by those you care about can lead to an overwhelming feeling of emptiness and despair. One lives through tragedies and transformations while watching ions pass them by. Empires rise and fall yet one still stands.

Meet the Alchemist, Oberon.

Immortality does not bewitch or scare him. He possesses the curse yet he finds it a blessing. Oberon has studied through many ancient texts and languages, making him one of the most powerful. Yet something inside of him is corrupted. »»———- ———-«« TW// Dead Dove | He is rly toxic too so.... if you are into that. | He's also evil
